Answer

There are two ways to update retention times (RTs) in MultiQuant™ software quantitation methods. One way is temporary and the other way is permanent.

Temporary RT update: If the results table data is already processed and still open, select Modify Results Table Method from the Edit menu. The method will appear in a small window. Select the Integration and Regression tab. Right click in the peak window and select Set New Typical Sample. Pick a sample (e.g., medium concentration calibrator) from the run you are processing. Highlight all of the peaks in the run and then click OK. This update will only affect the currently open results table, but it will not permanently update the processing method.

Permanent RT update: In the File menu, choose Update Quantitation Method. Pick the method and click Open. Select the Integration and Regression tab. Right click in the peak window and select Set New Typical Sample. Pick a sample (e.g., medium concentration calibrator) from the run you are processing. Highlight all of the peaks in the run and then click Save. Open your data to process, and Multiquant software will begin to use updated method for processing. If a results table was already opened for processing before the method was updated, you will need to update the method temporarily for the open data as well.
