MultiQuant™ Reporter: System Out of Memory Error

Issue Description

When processing large data sets on a 32-bit computer with MultiQuant™ software, especially if chromatograms are being imported into the report, an error message will occur: "System out of memory." 

Resolution

This error is not related to MultiQuant™ software, and the computer system is actually out of memory. To resolve this error, more memory can be added to the computer, a 64-bit computer can be used, or one of the two following workarounds can be used:

1) Select the box Create an individual report for each sample (recommended for large reports, see image).



2) Cut the processing batch time in half by using the same curve to process half of the data at a time. It is recommended to try the first option first, because dividing the samples into groups increases the overall processing time and could affect productivity.
