When installing Analyst® software with the Waters' Driver Pack 4 (DP4) or the Driver Pack 4 supplemental release (DP4 SR1), consideration must be given to the Analyst security mode setting that is selected.
- For DP4 - Use single user or integrated mode.
- For DP4 SR1 - Use mixed mode
In DP4 SR1, Waters fixed some cycle time issues and unwanted plate returns in Analyst mixed security mode; however, the fix breaks the Analyst single user and integrated security modes.
