What Files Must Be Backed Up before an Analyst Software Reinstall?

Answer

Back up the API Instrument project folder in the Analyst Data folder (located on the C or D Drive / Analyst Data / Projects / API Instruments) prior to any reinstall or upgrade of the Analyst software. To upgrade an older version of Analyst, remove and back up the Analyst Data folder and any remaining short cuts on your workstation. Reboot the PC and install the new version of the software.
