Scheduled MRM™ Data with Polarity Switching Not Opening in MultiQuant™ Software

Issue Description

Data files acquired in Analyst® software using a Scheduled MRM™ (sMRM) polarity switching method with the negative ion mode set to basic sMRM and the positive ion mode set to advanced sMRM could not be opened in MultiQuant™ software. The following error message was recevied: Invalid requested storage path.

Resolution

When setting up a Scheduled MRM method in Analyst software, for a method using polarity switching, both positive and negative ion modes must be in the same Scheduled MRM mode. Select either Basic or Advanced for each experiment in the polarity switching method but not a mixture of both.
