Adjust the regional language in LibraryView™ software to correct the SCIEX L:icense Notification screen

Issue Description

When launching LibraryView™ software, the license notification screen appears, indicating that some library licenses were valid and other library licenses were not found. This screen appears primarily when two separate languages are used in SCIEX OS and LibraryView software simulataneously. The screenshot below shows an example of the error in Japanese:

Resolution

To resolve this error, the same language must be selected in both SCIEX OS and LibraryView™ software.
The following languages are supported with SCIEX OS software 3.0 and higher: French, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Spanish, and simplified Chinese. 

To change the selected language in LibraryView software. open the software and select the cog on the upper right hand corner.

Next, select Application Settings under the Regions tab. Choose the correct language (e.g., Japan).

To select the regional language In SCIEX OS software, navigate to the General menu under the Configuration tile, and select the correct language from the drop-down menu.

Choosing the correct language settings prevents to show the license notifications popup window.

For SCIEX OS systems set up for acquisition, only the English version of the operating system is supported. For processing versions of the software (SCIEX OS-Q and SCIEX OS-MQ), the English, French, German, and Italian versions of the operating systems are supported.
