How Are Entries Added to the Compound Database in DiscoveryQuant™ Software?

Answer

To add entries to the compound database in DiscoveryQuant™ software:

1. Open the software, and select Edit Compounds. The Edit Compound Workspace will open.
2. Select the Add button. 
3. Add information to the following fields:
   • Machine Name: the current computer
   • Date/Time: the current date and time
   • Selected Tune: set to QuickTune+ for a compound with positive polarity or QuickTune- for a compound with negative polarity.
4. Select Add again to confirm the changes. Only fragments with non-zero Q3 masses are added.
