Answer

A simple query can be created in MultiQuant™ software by selecting the Create Simple Query option in the Process menu. An existing results table must be open already. Looking at the upper left-hand corner of the Create Query File screen, select Custom Column from the drop down menu for Apply as. Add a name for the query in the Custom column name field. In the Formula field, add the necessary information for the formula. Once finished, select OK. When prompted, typed in the Name of the query and click OK.

To run the query that was just created, return to the Process menu and select Query. In the drop down menu that appears for the Query file field, select the query that was just created.

For more complex calculations, you can use one of the queries created in Excel. The calculated results from the query will be placed into your MultiQuant results table. These queries can be opened to review them by selecting any .xls file from the Query file drop down menu and then selecting Edit Query.
