My Annual SCIEX License Suddenly Stopped Working Before It Expired, Why?

Issue Description

A new annual SCIEX subscription license stopped working suddenly despite having many months of use remaining. The error message received was, "License start date is in the future."


Resolution

The date/time setting were recently changed on the PC with the license issue. Setting the PC date/time back to the correct date and time allowed for normal operation of the software to resume.
