What version of SCIEX OS software includes a tile for Biologics Explorer software?

Answer

A tile for Biologics Explorer (BE) software appears in SCIEX OS versions 3.1.5 and higher, as long as the BE software is installed and licensed successfully on the same PC as that where SCIEX OS software is installed. All versions of the BE software can be launched from this tile. The BE software tile (below) appears in the home screen for SCIEX OS software in the Processing section under the Analytics tile. 
Unlike the Molecule Profiler and MarkerView software which do not require additional software to be installed and are incorporated into the SCIEX OS software installer, the BE software must be installed from a separate installer package. This is because BE software was developed by Genedata and not SCIEX, so the release cadences and licensing models are different for the two products. To ensure we provide users with the most up-to-date biologics workflows, we chose not to fully incorporate BE into the SCIEX OS installer.

Regardless of the version of BE software installed, no tile for BE will appear on the SCIEX OS software home screen if SCIEX OS software version 3.1 or lower is installed.
