We know that transitioning to a new software platform can raise important questions. That’s why we’ve thoughtfully considered the most common questions and current situations our customers face and outlined how SCIEX can support you through each one. 

What does end-of-support (EOS) mean for Analyst software?

Support and availability will gradually phase out. These milestones are designed to provide you with ample time for your transition to SCIEX OS software.

Here is what you need to know about Analyst software, Windows 11

Analyst software will not be tested or supported with Windows 11. Customers who choose to use Analyst software on Windows 11 do so knowing that it is not a supported configuration. SCIEX OS software 4.0 is compatible and supported on Windows 11 LTSC 2024.

Transition to SCIEX OS software
  • Customers can continue using Analyst software after the retirement date.
  • Existing workflows will continue to function as long as the setup remains unchanged. 
  • Analyst software will not be tested or developed for Windows 11 or future operating systems.
  • New instruments will be supported exclusively on SCIEX OS software.
  • MD compatible solution anticipated to be released starting H1 2026.
  • Service support and coverage for instrument hardware should not be impacted.
  • SCIEX OS software version 4.0 offers full support on Windows 11 LTSC 2024
  • Designed to help your lab stay current and compliant.

Access and implementation

Customers with instruments using Analyst software that have been installed for less than 12 months are still eligible for free SCIEX OS software licenses, provided the instrument is still under warranty. Please note that the installation date of the instrument is considered the start date for both the instrument warranty and the warranty on the software starter kit supplied with it. Customers will need to purchase on-site service to perform the upgrade. 

Based on your individual lab’s requirements, SCIEX offers a complete set of solutions and services. If you choose to transition to SCIEX OS the cost can vary depending on your current setup and any active service or software contracts you hold with SCIEX.
